“TO MAKE ARCHITECTURE MORE HUMAN MEANS MAKING BETTER ARCHITECTURE, AND IT MEANS A FUNCTIONALISM MUCH LARGER THAN THE MERELY TECHNICAL ONE…” – ALVAR AALTO –
The open offices at TRAFILOG fragment a strategically positioned block, which allows for flexibility and transit within a common space that takes advantage of the natural light coming from the building’s main facade.
The office total area is 160 m2, 30 of which belong to the aforementioned block; the rest are split between the general workspace, management offices, walkways and lobby. The flexibility of the management offices lets each space to be divided in one or two cubicles each.
Certified and carefully chosen Canadian alder wood is used as treating material for the main piece, which produces a cozy atmosphere. Despite the color of the common space drifts from white, preferring a warmer tone, it delivers proper refraction daylight.
